Makeup Artist

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced makeup artist to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of makeup application techniques and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest makeup trends. As a makeup artist, you will work with clients to create a range of looks for various occasions, such as weddings, photoshoots, and special events.

Responsibilities:

• Provide makeup services to clients, including consultation, skin analysis, and makeup application.
• Create customized makeup looks based on client preferences, skin tone, and event type.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends and techniques, and provide recommendations to clients.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring that all tools and products are properly sanitized.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of makeup products and tools, ensuring that all supplies are in good working condition.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
• Collaborate with photographers, hairstylists, and other professionals to create cohesive looks for photoshoots and other events.
• Attend training sessions and professional development courses to improve skills and stay current with industry trends.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a makeup artist certification program preferred.
• Proven experience as a makeup artist, with a strong portfolio of work.
• In-depth knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen to clients’ needs and provide recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times, with a strong customer service orientation.
• A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
